My team and I are working hard to push Notice into production in early June. I am proud of how far we have come this past year. However, I believe we have room to move more efficiently. Though I've been coding every free minute of the day, I wish I had more time. I now have Notice running on a handheld device, so we are getting ready to schedule meetings with volunteer coordinators for beta testing. I am trying to find good ways to get a broad range of feedback from potential volunteers. Summer is approaching, so using students from Emma may be difficult. One good way to do this is through the volunteer organizations that agreed to help us. I am pushing myself to move faster on the software development side of things. With the responsibility of bringing my team together and helping us achieve the best outcome possible, I would also like to improve at keeping them engaged in our work. Robyn will be deploying and maintaining our website. Soumya and Astrid are working hard on the non-profit application and registering us as whatever we are going to be (we are thinking of registering 'Notice Volunteer' as a non-profit and 'Notice Platforms' as an LLC under a trusted adult). NoticeHacks is successfully up and we have been getting many inquiries from participants who may want to work with us. We are also looking into applying for a grant after deployment. I am excited to see where this -- very busy -- summer brings us. As I’ve said many times over the past year, I believe we will come out with a strong, respectable, and impactful product.
